This is so expensive to make. I rem i bought almost $50 worth of ingredient to make a medium-sized tiramisu a few years ago! =)
ReplyDeleteYea, agree~ An alcohol-free tiramisu would be more economical I guess. But Kahlua in tiramisu makes it sooooo good. I actually put 4 times the recommended amount of Kahlua in it, hehe. I think traditionally the Italians use Amaretto, but I couldn't get it in any shop nearby, hence choosing between Brandy, Rum, Kahlua, I choose the coffee liquor.
